Concept’s Smart Displays Run Android

Concept International GmbH has developed a range of smart displays running Android 4.4, in 14″ – 21.5″ sizes. Available with or without capacitive touch, the SH series are designed for use in public environments.

The units (14″ SH1401WF, 15.6″ SH1561WF, 18.5″ SH1851WF and 21.5″ SH2151WF) feature 1.6GHz quad-core processors and built-in speakers. USB, mini-USB and RJ45 ports are featured, as well as an SD card slot and space for a mountable barcode scanner. They are also able to connect to Wi-Fi.

1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage is found on all units, as well as 1920 x 1080 resolution (excluding SH1851WF, which is 1366 x 768). They also share 140°/120° viewing angles and 700:1 contrast ratios.

The SH1401WF and SH1561WF have dual 2W speakers and 300 cd/m² of brightness. The SH1851WF and SH2151WF have dual 3W or 5W speakers, respectively, and 250 cd/m² of brightness.

Prices start at €225 for the non-touch SH1401WF, or €285 for the touch version (SH1401WF-T). Prices scale to €380 for the non-touch SH2151WF, or €510 for the SH2151WF-T. All models are available now.
