The 12th annual CinemaCon conference and tradeshow, set to take place next week at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, will feature Christie as the event’s official projection partner. The company will provide advanced presentation technology for images displayed in The Colosseum and showcase its range of cinema industry solutions in Milano Ballrooms I and V.
Among the highlights are the North American debut of Christie’s CP4445-RGB and CP4455-RGB pure laser projectors. With 47,000 and 57,000 lumens respectively, these projectors are designed for premium large format (PLF) screens and boast an expansive color gamut and contrast. Additionally, they offer more than 50,000 hours of stable DCI brightness, making them an advanced, low-maintenance, and cost-effective solution for the cinema industry.
As the most energy-efficient projectors on the market, the CP4445-RGB and CP4455-RGB deliver more lumens with less energy, translating to significant long-term savings. Christie will also showcase its washable and reusable filters for select RGB and Xenon cinema projectors, which provide an environmentally friendly and economical option for users.
CinemaCon 2023 attendees can experience Christie’s range of projection solutions at Milano I and V, including the CP2420-Xe. Known for its reliability, this projector features Xenolite Ultimate Performance lamps for extended lamp life and Cinelife+ electronics for improved signal processing and ease of use. The CP2420-Xe offers unparalleled performance at the lowest acquisition cost in the industry.
Christie Vive Audio solutions will also be on display, featuring screen channels, surround sound, and subwoofers. The company has partnered with Powersoft to equip Vive Audio’s unique ribbon driver, line-array sound systems with Powersoft amps.
In the Milano V theater, attendees can witness the CP4425-RGB pure laser projector in action. Capable of delivering 26,000 lumens for screens up to 89 feet wide, this projector offers 30% more efficiency than its leading competitor while producing colorful, detailed, and true-to-life images.
Lastly, Christie will present its full line-up of CDXL Ultimate Performance Xenolite lamps, designed for increased brightness stability, reliability, and longer life in Christie Series 2, Series 3, and Series 4 cinema projectors.
Throughout CinemaCon, The Colosseum will showcase upcoming releases from Sony Pictures Entertainment, Warner Bros. Pictures, Walt Disney Studios, Universal Pictures, and Paramount Pictures using Christie’s CP4435-RGB pure laser projectors and CP2230 Xenon projectors. These dual-stacked projectors can illuminate the screen with 70,000 and 66,000 lumens respectively, providing a vibrant, immersive experience full of color, contrast, and rich detail.
