Also at ISE, Christie will present 1DLP models with improved warping and blending functionality. Designed for applications requiring installation freedom, the DWU1052-Q and DHD1052-Q can throw images on to curved or flat surfaces in portrait or landscape modes.
Both models feature Christie’s eClarity image processing; using this, owners have more control over content sharpness, gloss and shading. HDR functionality is also included.
Both models have two colour wheel options (high brightness or rich colour) and can be operated in single- or dual-lamp modes. They use two 430W lamps, lasting 1,000 hours in portrait mode or up to 4,000 hours in landscape eco mode.
HDMI (x2), 3G-SDI, DVI-D, component, composite, USB-A, RS232 and RJ45 (HDBaseT-compatible) ports are featured. Seven lens options are available, ranging from 0.38:1 (fixed) to 5.7-9.1:1.
Resolution and brightness set the models apart. The DWU unit is 1920 x 1200, with 8,900 ANSI lumens of brightness; the DHD is 1920 x 1080, with 8,450 lumens.
The projectors are 537 x 463 x 174mm, and weigh 17.5kg. They will be shown at ISE, and begin to be shipped in April.
