AV Magazine reported that Christie’s camera-based Mystique system for automatic warping and blending of multiple projectors has been upgraded to version 2.5. There are two new features:
- The system can compensate for backgrounds that are dirty, discoloured or non-uniform
- The system also automatically adjusts to make the colour and brightness uniformity consistent between the images to make the blend areas seamless.
What We Think
Badly blended displays are the kind of thing that drives us display enthusiasts crazy, although consumers may not be so conscious! (BR)
