Canon Brings Interactivity to UST Space

A new UST projector, from Canon, has been introduced to the European market. The LV-WX300UST (also available in an interactive version, the LV-WX300USTi) is designed for easy set-up, with +/-40° keystone adjustment, six-axis colour adjustment and colour tuning; this latter feature enables images to be thrown onto any light-colour wall.

The unit has 1280 x 800 resolution and uses a 230W lamp, providing 3,000 lumens of brightness and lasting for up to 8,000 hours. It has a fixed zoom and manual focus, with a 2,300:1 contrast ratio.

Throw ratio is 0.35:1; the projector is able to throw an 80″ – 100″ image from 0.3m – 0.45m. It is able to produce 10-bit colour and has two 10W speakers.

HDMI 1.3 (x2), mini D-Sub (x2), mini DIN, RS232 and RJ45 ports are featured. The projector measures 288 x 375 x 186mm and weighs 5kg. It is available now. The interactive version is identical and supports up to four infrared pens. It will be available in May.
