UK-based BVM Limited is now offering a 15.6″ panel PC family, sealed to meet the IP64 standard. Designed for machine control on factory floors, the AFL3 range can be panel-, wall-, rack-, stand- or arm-mounted.
The units feature either five-wire resistive or procap (for multitouch) touch. They are differentiated by their processors; each uses the Intel H81 chipset, with processors ranging from a dual-core 2.3GHz Pentium G3320TE to a dual-core 2.7GHz Core i5. Up to 16GB of RAM is available. Optionally users can choose to have a low light camera, digital microphone, amplifier and internal speakers. HDMI, USB 2.0 (x4), USB 3.0 (x2), RS232, RJ45 (x2) and RS232/422/485 ports are featured.
BVM is selling the 15.6″ AFL3 models now. Price is on application.
