US-based BLU Products has introduced a smartphone called the BLU Studio Touch: a low-cost model with premium features. These include a metal chassis, 4G connectivity and a fingerprint scanner.
As well as the above, the Studio Touch features a 5″ display (1280 x 720) with on-cell touch and 420 cd/m² of brightness. A wide-angle 5MP front camera and 8MP rear camera, both with an LED flash, are also built in.
Android 6.0 runs on a 1GHz quad-core 64-bit Mediatek 6735 processor, with a Mali T720 GPU. 1GB or 2GB of RAM can be installed, with 8GB or 16GB of storage. The battery is a non-removable 2,500mAh unit.
BLU is selling the Studio Touch in the USA now, for $100.
