BenQ’s MX570 Projector Delivers Vibrant Colors to Education & Conference Settings

BenQ America Corp., an internationally renowned provider of visual display solutions and the No. 1-selling projector brand powered by TI DLP technology in The Americas, today announced the release of its budget-friendly MX570 Colorific(TM) projector.

Engineered for today’s conferencing, classroom, and training room environments, the innovative device features up to 3200 ANSI lumens of brightness, a 13,000:1 contrast ratio, energy-saving SmartEco technology and a 10W speaker — allowing users to cast crisp image details and vibrant-looking colors, with the convenience of integrated audio, to unleash more memorable presentations without straining the school or boardroom budget.

Created specifically for classrooms and conference rooms, the MX570 combines 3200 ANSI lumens of brightness with XGA resolution to deliver more vivid content experiences. With the addition of HDMI connectivity, a 13,000:1 contrast ratio, and up to 10,000 hours of lamp life, the unit shines even brighter, sharper, and longer than previous projector generations and is incredibly easy to install and use. The projector’s long-lasting DLP image quality also produces razor-sharp images with a higher fill factor and clearer text for years to come.

“The MX570 is BenQ’s statement that affordability does not have to mean low quality,” said Felix Pimentel, Senior Product Marketing Manager at BenQ America Corp. “The projector is lighter, brighter, offers more connectivity options, lasts longer and provides more value than other solutions in its class. With features such as SmartEco technology and remote LAN management, the MX570 is a simple and efficient solution for small- to medium-size spaces.”

Designed for setups across entire facilities, the MX570 features remote management via LAN — providing simplified management for IT staff via remote monitoring, scheduling, and maintenance from any location over a network. For even further convenience and to ease installations into existing infrastructures, the unit’s LAN terminal is compatible with AMX, Crestron, and PJLink. To increase installation flexibility, the MX570 features a 1.3x zoom as well as vertical keystone correction, while HDMI, VGA, S-Video, RS-232, and RJ45 inputs satisfy a variety of connectivity requirements. Adding the convenience of a 10W acoustically balanced speaker, users get a complete multimedia solution.

Equipped with BenQ’s SmartEco technology, the MX570 lowers energy expenditures through a variety of settings while delivering lamp life of up to 10,000 hours and up to 70 percent lamp power savings. To further reduce power consumption, an “Eco Blank Mode” allows teachers or presenters to blank out the screen whenever projection isn’t required, while a “No Source Detected” mode automatically lowers brightness to 30 percent when no display has been detected for more than three minutes. After 30 minutes of inactivity, the projector automatically shuts down to save power.

Available now, the BenQ MX570 retails at $529 and offers a 3-year warranty. More information on the full line of BenQ products is available at www.BenQ.us.
