BenQ America Corp., an internationally renowned provider of visual display solutions and the No. 1-selling projector brand powered by TI DLP technology in The Americas, today announced the introduction of a full lineup of 100% sRGB Colorific projectors at InfoComm 2015.
The new roster has been purpose-built to follow the sRGB color space, a well known and widely used industry standard for color accuracy in smartphones, monitors, cameras, printers, the Internet, and now, thanks to BenQ, also projectors. sRGB displays produce a richer color saturation and, as a result, deliver more accurate images with a higher perceived overall brightness.
“End users expect color continuity across all devices. They want to see all their content as well as their company logo exactly as they see it on their smartphones, tablets, and monitors. 100% sRGB ensures projectors deliver the right color each and every time,” said Lars Yoder, President at BenQ America Corp. “With our first 100% sRGB model, the HC1200, we set the stage by offering the best color of any single-chip DLP projector in the industry, and now we’re expanding these capabilities to new professional and conference models for color-accurate content delivery in any setting.”
BenQ 100% sRGB Colorific Projectors
Powered by Colorific technology to deliver accurate, crisp, and long-lasting image quality, BenQ’s projectors deliver 100% sRGB color with improved out-of-the-box precision for a variety of AV environments including small- to medium-size conference rooms and large venues. Used in the majority of input devices, the sRGB color space shifts image quality focus back to color accuracy rather than the traditional assumption that higher brightness is always better. Because the right colors matter, all BenQ projectors are engineered to deliver consistent images over the entire life of the product. The new lineup on display at InfoComm 2015 consists of the PU9730, PU9530, SU964, SU922, and HC1200.
Large Venue P-Series Professional Projectors – PU9730 and PU9530
The BenQ P-Series projectors deliver brilliant image performance with ultra-high brightness, high contrast ratios, and high resolutions to deliver incredibly accurate color reproduction, time after time. The PU9730 and PU9530 deliver 7,000 and 6,000 ANSI lumens, respectively — suitable for large-venue applications such as houses of worship, auditoriums, and conference rooms. Both models feature WUXGA resolution; 360-degree rotation; motorized zoom, focus, and lens shift; plus a range of connectivity options including HDBaseT for enhanced installation flexibility. The P-Series projectors offer seven interchangeable lenses and color wheels allowing placement virtually anywhere, all while boosting mid-tone colors for more lifelike content. Rounding out the projectors’ administration are convenient features like LAN Control to support Creston Roomview, PJLink, and AMX systems, and energy-saving options that reduce total cost of ownership (TCO).
High Brightness S-Series Professional Projectors – SU964 and SU922
BenQ’s S-Series projectors are designed to bring high brightness to any AV environment. The SU964 and SU922 feature 6,500 and 5,000 ANSI lumens of brightness combined with remarkable 8300:1 and 3000:1 contrast ratios, respectively. Delivering up to 2.3 million pixels, the projectors deliver full HD images without compromising legibility for stunning content in any ambient lighting setting. Featuring WUXGA resolution, the duo also accommodates several connectivity options, including dual HDMI and HDBaseT to support multiple media sources. To make installations more efficient, the devices provide a 1.5x zoom, horizontal and vertical lens shift, corner fit correction, and LAN Control to support Creston Roomview, PJLink, and AMX systems. Additionally, the models offer a wide range of energy-saving features to cut power consumption by up to 70%.
The World’s First 100% sRGB Multipurpose Projector – HC1200
The BenQ HC1200 was the market’s first 100% sRGB projector. Offering 1.5x zoom capabilities, 2D keystone correction, and an embedded test pattern, the revolutionary unit enables a more precise calibration process during setup. Increasing versatility, the HC1200 also provides integrators with the convenience of both RJ45 (LAN) and RS232 networking standards, while a variety of connectivity options such as dual HDMI offer the ultimate in multimedia convergence.
The entire sRGB Colorific lineup features twice as much ANSI contrast than typical LCD projectors — reproducing images with a higher perceived brightness than top-selling projectors with equal brightness ratings. This stunning, crisp contrast accentuates finer details for greater image clarity, allowing visuals to virtually jump off the screen. Like all BenQ projectors, the units will also continue to display accurate colors without running the risk of colors fading, ghosting, or yellowing over time.
