BenQ Preview the Dynamic New SW271 Colour Critical Monitor at IBC

BenQ, an internationally renowned provider of visual display solutions, have announced that they will be previewing the dynamic new SW271 at IBC next month.
Building on the success of its award-winning predecessor the SW2700PT, the SW271 sets a new benchmark by taking image quality to the next level.

The sleek new 27” 4K UHD monitor offers a number of impressive features for filmmakers and videographers that demand consistently accurate colour throughout their workflow. With 100% Rec. 709 and 99% Adobe RGB coverage, plus the addition of HDR capabilities, this wide gamut monitor is set to turn heads at IBC.

Other key features include GamutDuo, which enables users to view content simultaneously in different colour spaces side-by-side and a Hotkey Puck that allows users to effortlessly switch between Adobe RGB, sRGB and Black & White modes. The SW271 also comes with a detachable shading hood that reduces the monitor’s screen glare.

“We are proud to present the SW271, which joins our full line of professional monitors, developed for creative professionals,” said Conway Lee, President of BenQ Corporation.

“The SW271 brings users specialised tools and advanced hardware calibration for colour-critical applications. It also has USB-C™ connectivity for transmitting video and data signals with one cable for convenience. IBC is the perfect opportunity for us to preview this exciting new monitor to the European video market.”

BenQ will be exhibiting on stand 12.G48 at IBC, which takes place this year at RAI Amsterdam from 15th–19th September. As well as previewing the SW271, there will be live product demonstrations of BenQ’s other popular video monitors, including the SW320 (31.5”), the PV3200PT (32”) and the PV270 (27”).

Visitors can take advantage of exclusive show offers, and are invited to submit their details on stand 12.G48 for the chance to win a 6 day, all-expenses paid trip to Venice, Italy. During this once in a lifetime trip, the lucky winner will be lead through the most photogenic locations that Venice has to offer, taking in beautiful scenery and getting expert photographic tuition from Gabriella Micene.

This exciting prize, worth over £4,000, is ideal for photographers and filmmakers looking to unleash their creative side and capture some unbelievable memories.

BenQ’s range of colour critical monitors is available to purchase through leading photo and video retailers. The range is distributed by XP Distribution in the UK, France, Spain, Germany, Poland and the Nordics.

The suggested retail price of the BenQ SW271 is £1,067 incl. VAT and can be pre-ordered now, with shipments commencing in early October 2017. For more information, visit: www.xpdistribution.com.
