Sony showed a concept projector that could also function as a lightbulb at IFA 2014 (Sony is Committed to ‘Kando’), and now a similar product has appeared on Kickstarter (http://tinyurl.com/nlhmp46). The Beam, which has already more than doubled its funding target, will be shipped in the autumn. It is a bulb-like projector that can screw into a light socket for power, or run using a regular cable.
