Atmaca Elektronik, one of Turkey’s electronics manufacturers, has chosen Seraphic as its TV portal solution provider, in order to be able to launch a new series of smart TVs in Europe, using the brand name, Sunny. Seraphic is a digital TV browser and Internet TV solution provider from China.
Seraphic has developed ready-to-go OTT content solution for DTV and STB manufacturers worldwide. Its TV portal solution, with over 4,000 global TV apps pre-integrated from partners, is claimed to enable device makers to accelerate their time-to-market and launch in global markets. Seraphic follows Foxxum’s latest technical specifications and pre-integrates all of its apps.
Baki Onur Gür, CTO of Atmaca, said that the competition in smart TV market is becoming increasingly fierce. To be on a par with competition, the company has built a relationship with Seraphic, whose TV portal solution enables Atmaca to meet viewers’ needs for content and helps to save R&D resources. Atmaca is looking to cooperate with Seraphic on HbbTV and other products.
