It has been announced that the forthcoming Atari VCS console will be available for pre-order from May 30th, priced at $199, with initial shipments planned for spring 2019.
Not only that, but the company has also revealed that the console will support Ultra HD resolution, HDR, 60 frames per second, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB 3.0, as well as featuring internal storage and support for external storage devices. The machine is powered by a custom-made AMD processor with Radeon Graphics Technology.
The new console will apparently support popular modern titles and provide access to the “Atari Vault”, containing over a hundred classic games, as well as media streaming features.
