Asustek Moves Away From Consumer Desktop PCs

Asustek will produce fewer desktop PCs in future, instead concentrating on the enterprise sector in China and Taiwan and all-in-one PCs, according to Digitimes. A decline in the PC market has seen global sales slip from 360 million units in 2011 to 260 million in 2016, with desktop shipments barely above 100 million. Asustek has seen its desktop shipments fall from 3 million in 2015 to 1 million in 2016.
