Asus Strix GL702ZC uses 8 Core AMD Ryzen

Asus has a new laptop which features an AMD Ryzen eight core processor and is claimed to be the first to use this chip. The GL702ZC also supports FreeSync on its integrated 17.3″ UltraHD IPS display* or an external display via HDMI or DisplayPort. The processor runs at up to 3.7GHz and the graphics are supplied by AMD’s Radeon RX580 graphics with 4GB DDR5 VRAM and are suitable for VR applications.

Memory is up to 32GB and storage can be an HDD and SSD combination. Connections are USB Type A (3) and one USB Type-C. Features include a noise-cancelling microphone array.

Asus said that the backlit keyboard features anti-ghosting technology to ensure all keystrokes are instantaneously and correctly interpreted, even when 30 keys are pressed simultaneously

*Asus said that the resolution is UltraHD on its website, but the US site says that the display is FullHD resolution and supporting 120Hz refresh.
