AptoVision, a pioneer of game-changing AV chipset technology and winner of the 2014 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Jury’s Favourite prize, today announced that its BlueRiver NT+ chipset has won AV Technology’s “Best of show” award. The award was announced following the Infocomm 2015 tradeshow held in Orlando from June 17th to June 19th, 2015.
“By recognizing that Ethernet beat HDBaseT, this product is perfectly positioned to transport studio quality video.” AVT judges commented. The decision matrix for the award included perceived value, ROI, total cost of ownership, richness of the feature set, ease-of-use, reliability, versatility, and overall network impact.
Multiple OEM partners who demonstrated products based on BlueRiver NT technology also won awards during the show. These include Aurora Multimedia’s IPX-TCW3 (Infocomm 2015 Best of Show by Sound & Video Contractor Magazine) and DVI Gear’s DisplayNet DN-100 Series (Infocomm 2015 Best of Show by both AV Technology and Sound & Video Contractor Magazine).
“Once again, the BlueRiver NT technology has been recognized amongst a thousand exhibitors and tens of thousands of products,” said Kamran Ahmed, CEO & co-founder of AptoVision. “By proving that uncompressed, zero-frame latency transmission of 4K video over IP switches is now a reality, AptoVision clearly demonstrates its leadership in bringing the disruptive power of Ethernet to AV signal distribution.”
