What They Say
Patently Apple reports that Apple has won a patent (10,923,012 that was filed in March 2020) that covers devices that can be used at double or other multiples of their native refresh rates. The site suggests that a 120Hz native display might be driven at 240Hz.
The previous day, the website had reported that rumours suggest a 120Hz ‘Always On’ display for the iPhone 13.
What We Think
Clearly, high refresh rates are becoming an item for bragging rights among device makers. (BR)
