Apple has made the Apple TV app available on the Apple TV and iOS device in France, Germany and the UK, in addition to the US, Norway and Sweden which already had access. Apple has a support document that shows the services available in each geography. The number of apps is limited, but includes Amazon Prime (and MUBI) and three of the major DTT broadcasters in the UK (BBC, ITV and Channel 5) and ZDFmediathek and Sky Ticket in Germany. France includes myCanal, Molotov, Hopster and OCS.
This is in stark contrast to the 67 services available in the US, with the UK nearest in Europe at 10. Australia has 12 and Canada 11.
