Apple is developing a touch and display driver integration (TDDI) single-chip solution for its iPhones, say Asian sources. The solution, being developed inside Apple, will be used in future iPhone designs, with ultra-thin bezels. The design would enable Apple to eliminate the Home button entirely and enlarge the display, turning the entire screen into a fingerprint scanner.
