Apple adds Wistron and Compal for iPad Assembly

Wistron and Compal have joined Apple’s supply chain, recruited to build iPads, according to Apple’s annual supplier report. China’s BYD has also joined the company as an assembler of accessories – making it one of only two non-Taiwanese Apple suppliers.
