Due to debt redemption, Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) reported Q3 net losses of $406 million, up on losses for the same period last year of $197 million, on turnover of $1.3 billion, up 23% from $1.1 billion. For the nine months there was a loss of $446 million, down from last time’s loss of $558 million, on revenue which rose to $3.2 billion from $3.0 billion. The company said that record semi-custom SoC and higher GPU and mobile APU sales were partly offset by weaker desktop processor and chipset sales.
