AMD has released new software for its Radeon chips that will be, effectively, an operating system for the company’s chips when used in stand-alone applications such as A/R and V/R headsets. AMD has already launched its Radeon Technologies Group which will be promoting the chips.
The new software, called Radeon Software Crimson, is claimed to be much quicker to load GPU games than its standard drivers and allows optimisation of different parameters. The new interface will also be available for PC driver optimisation and adjustment. You can find AMD’s slideset at http://tinyurl.com/ogrbnw4
