A giant cat-themed kiosk has been built in Guangzhou, China. The Super Test-Drive Center is a collaboration between Alibaba and Ford. It’s essentially a car vending machine that provides customers with three days to test-drive the Ford vehicles contained within. Users with a credit score of 700 or above will be able to use the service for free, whereas those with a lower score will have to pay a fee. The kiosk is completely unmanned and integrates with Alibaba’s Tmail app, which can also be used to purchased the vehicles.
This isn’t Ford’s first foray into this territory—last year, a dealership in Michigan, United States, set up a kiosk for car collection and drop-off. (More Kiosks Appear in Automotive and QSR Applications)
