AIV-BEX Hits Delays

In 2012, AIV-BEX (then known as Stimulated Blue) began an OLED project called ‘blue-coating’ (Display Monitor Vol 19 No 31), to produce small panels. This time last year we heard that the company was working with CPT to construct a G4.5 AMOLED fab (Display Monitor Vol 20 No 41); earlier this year, the entire project was said to have been discontinued. The OLED Association now claims that production has simply been delayed until Q4’15. The project is apparently still running, but slower than expected. OLED-Info also says that the original plan, to ink-jet print the panels, will not go ahead.
