DSCC added more to its release of data from its Advanced TV report (OLED Share Increased in Booming Advanced TV Market in Q2 2021). In the new blog post, it shows the revenue forecast by region and pulls out 8K and miniLED shipment forecasts.
The article highlights that revenue for these segments will be $26.7 billion, with OLED capturing 41% at $11.0 billion. Revenues are expected to grow with a 22% CAGR to $52.4 billion in 2026, with OLED TV at $27.1 billion, getting past LCD revenues in 2025 as LCD passes its peak of revenues. MicroLED will have 0.2% of units, but 6% of revenues.
