A large panel-mount monitor, able to withstand extreme environments, is now being offered by Acnodes in the USA.
The APS9550 uses an IP65-rated stainless steel chassis and 8mm-thick protective glass. The enclosure features an anti-corrosive coating and all connectors (HDMI (optional), DVI-D and VGA) are also IP65-compliant. Temperatures between -20 deg and 50 deg can be withstood, as well as voltage inputs between 110V and 240V.
Resolution of the 55″ screen is 1920 x 1080, with a 5,000:1 contrast ratio and 178 deg viewing angles. 10-bit colour can be displayed. Brightness is 450 cd/m
