Acer said that it had its highest revenues for seven years in June at $1.07 billion, up 16.9% year on year and up 21% on May. Q2 revenues were up 21.7% to $2.84 billion and YTD sales were $5.39 billion, up 32.2%.
Gaming products were up by 35.7% and Chromebooks were up 41.9%.
What We Think
A couple of years agoo, it wasn’t clear if Acer was ‘on the ropes’, but the pandemic has really helped. As the English expression has it “It’s an ill wind that blows nobody any good”. (BR)
