What They Say
Acer reported its 2021 result and saw sales of $3.01 billion in Q4, bringing revenues for the year to $11.117 billion. The firm made operating income of $136 million in Q4 and $494 million for the year, the highest for 11 years and representing a record high 4.4% margin.
What We Think
As I’ve said before, I wasn’t confident that Acer would pull its back from what looked like a long term decline, but it seems to be doing that. That process has been helped by the fact that it is in the notebook, Chromebook and gaming markets which have been good over the last couple of years. The next couple will show if it’s a temporary boost or a long term recovery. (BR)
