Acer just announced the Swift Edge 16 (SFE16-43) equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7040 series processors and up to AMD Radeon 780M graphics. Some models may also feature AMD Ryzen AI, which can handle complex AI tasks and improve the quality of video calls in real-time. It is fitted with a 16-inch 3.2K OLED display having a resolution of 3200 x 2000 pixels, and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The displays response time is listed as 0.2ms.
The display supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. The OLED has a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and can reach a peak brightness of 500 nits. It also holds both a VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 and TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe certification. Included in the package is the Microsoft Pluton security processor and Windows Hello biometric authentication, and support for up to Wi-Fi 7. The Swift Edge 16 (SFE16-43) will be available in North America in July, starting at $1,299.99, and in EMEA in July, starting at 1,199 Euro.
