Hannspree Prepares for Smartphone Market Entry

Hannspree will expand its mobile product portfolio in Q4, adding large-screen smartphones to its line-up, as well as new tablet PCs. The products will be marketed at ‘affordable…entry-level price points’. The first smartphone, the SN50MC1, will have a 5″ screen (1280 x 720), IPS panel, dual-SIM capability and 1.7GHz octa-core CPU running Android 4.4. The SN1AW72 tablet will be a 10.1″ model with an IPS panel, 1280 x 800 resolution and quad-core 1.3GHz CPU running Android 4.4. It will be Hannspree’s first tablet with 3G and GPS functionality.
