More information has been shared by Dell, about its U3415W LCD monitor (Display Monitor Vol 20 No 48). Last year we heard that the product would be a 34″ model with 3440 x 1440 (21:9) resolution, using an LG IPS panel.
According to Dell, the monitor is not a standard flat unit: it features a curve, to make PC gaming more immersive. It will have a 60Hz refresh rate and feature DisplayPort, mini-DisplayPort and MHL-HDMI inputs. There will be two 9W speakers and an adjustable stand.
The U3415W will go on sale in November and globally in December. Pricing has not been shared yet.
