Omdia said that growth in the global public display market was 6.7% in Q3 2022 as a boost in roll-outs of educational deals in China boosted output of IFP/Touch displays to over 700K in a quarter for the first time. The analyst expects that category to continue to expand as other regions including MEA, Asia and Oceania and North America also see the result of government stimulus.
What We Think
I was intrigued that signage displays got back to 2019 levels in Q1 of this year. Videowalls are, of course, flat as the competition gets tougher from small pitch direct view LED. (BR)
