What They Say
The Korea JoongAng Daily reported that Samsung is to launch the next Galaxy S23 smartphone in the US in February, which is in line with the ‘traditional’ timetable. The story puts the launch in the first week.
The top of the range S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra handsets will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 worldwide. (Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Supports 8K60p AV1 Decoding) The Ultra’s camera is due for an upgrade to 200 megapixels and will, like the S22 Ultra, include a stylus.
The handsets are expected to cost more than the S22 series.
What We Think
A while back, the launches were timed to coincide with the MWC event in Barcelona, but that event is right at the end of February and into March in 2023. (BR)
