What They Say
We reported that LG Electronics has a new 27″ OLED monitor, the 27GR95QE-B, that we speculated that it used a WOLED panel from LG Display rather than the JOLED panel found in its previous OLED monitors. Now the product has been released on the LG US website. The 26.5″ display has 2560 x 1440 (QuadHD) resolution and with 240Hz support. Brightness is listed as TBD. G-Sync is supported as is AMD FreeSync Premium and there is support for HDR10. Colour coverage is 98.3% of DCI-P3. There is support for 110W power via USB-Type C.
The monitor will cost $999 when it becomes available.
What We Think
I have seen reports that this monitor is based on WOLED, but we haven’t been able to confirm this for ourselves, yet. (BR)
