Reuters reported that the ‘world’s largest electronics market’ of Huaqiangbei has been shut for four days and service suspended at a number of subway stations as authorities fight to contain a Covid outbreak which saw four people infected.
In Futian, the seat of the city government, officials announced that cinemas, karaoke bars and parks would be closed and large public events cancelled until Sept 2.
What We Think
This closure should have a limited impact, but if there is a major lockdown in Shenzen, that could be dire for a number of supply chains, (BR)
