Lenovo invests in trackpad startup Sensel

Last month, Sensel which is developing haptic touchpads, said that it has raised $18.8 million in a series B funding round that brings its total funding to date up to $57 million. (Sensel says your laptop might come with a haptic touchpad.) The investors included Lenovo and was led by Global Lighting Technologies Inc (GLT) which develops lightguides and has factories in China and Taiwan as well as Japan and the US. GLT is expected to help with developing cost effective mass production.
