In digging around for another topic, I spotted an article from a couple of weeks ago on The Elec that quoted a forecast from Omdia that OLED notebooks would reach 8.9 million units in 2022, up 78% from 5 million in 2021 and representing 3.4% of the overall market. The firm said that there were ten new models introduced last year.
The site reports that Apple is developing an LTPO-based OLED notebook with LGD. (which adds to the interest from tablets [LG Display Developing two OLED panels for Apple’s future iPads])
What We Think
