DCC Technology, known by its trading name of Exertis, has bought Almo Corp of the USA which makes the firm the largest in the specialist Pro AV business in the US after the acquisitions of Stampede, Jam Industries, The Music People and JB&A. Almo also has a big appliance business and has 660 employees with 2.5 million ft² of warehousing (23 hectares) in NA.
Almo will continue to be operated by the Chaiken Family, with Warren Chaiken as president and CEO and Gene Chaiken as chairman.
