What They Say
AOC has three new monitors in its Agon Pro gaming range. The 27″ AG274QXM (QuadHD @ 170 Hz), has a miniLED IPS panel (575 zones) with VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification and 99% of DCI-P3. The 27″ AG274UXP (UltraHD Nano IPS @ 144 Hz and 98% of DCI-P3) and the 27″ AG274QG (QuadHD @ 240 Hz), are both ‘4-side frameless’ monitors equipped with fast IPS panels and VESA DisplayHDR 600 support. The AG274 has a built-in Nvidia Reflex Analyzer. By connecting a Reflex-supported mouse such as AOC’s GM500, the analyser can give users instant feedback on the system latency and the monitor has Nvidia G-Sync Ultimate support.
Features include RGB lights and the QuickSwitch controller, a wired remote, is featured with all models to easily adjust game-specific features in the OSD.
The AGON PRO AG274QXM will be available from October 2021 at the RRP of £849.99. ($975 + tax)
The AGON PRO AG274UXP will be available from February 2022 at the RRP of £769.99 ($885 + tax).
The AGON PRO AG274QG will be available from February 2022 – price tbc.
What We Think
At one time MMD would have kept such high end monitors for its Philips brand, but has been moving its AOC brand up market at the high end of the consumer range for some time. I suspect TPV prefers not to pay the Philips royalty! (BR)
