MSI has a new notebook, designed with Hiroshi Fujiwara, a fashion designer. The notebook has a 16″ 2560 x 1600 LCD with a miniLED backlight, DisplayHDR 1000 certificationd, DCI-P3 and refresh of up to 165Hz. The system has other specs including a Core i7-11800H, a GeForce RTX 3060 laptop GPU, 16 GB DDR-3200 RAM and a 1 TB NVMe SSD. The aluminium housing was CNC-milled from one piece and comes in a special fragment design look. The RRP is €2799 and the unit is a limited edition – just 500 in the US
There are lower versions without miniLED.

DisplayHDR 1000 is a high level of output from a notebook – I wonder how short the battery life is when it’s full on and playing games??? (BR)
