Invidis spotted a new release, the M1 TV the second product from high end Austrian LED TV maker, C Seed (C Seed Makes Largest 4K TV). The company has made a 165″ display that folds up and disappears below floor level. It weighs 1.3 tonnes, so the floor had better be strong!

By our calculation, the pitch would be around 0.95mm. The TV is rumoured to have a price around €400,000, so not only will you need a strong floor, but also deep pockets!
The firm is not the first to sell into this extremely high end. I have spoken before to suppliers who found good markets for this kind of huge TV in Russia and the Middle East, but less so in Europe.
The design reminds me of the motorised LED display that can be found in Munich’s airport. If you haven’t seen it, there’s a video here. (BR)
