Lenovo has announced the ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga, said to be the thinnest ThinkPad ever, at 11.5mm thick It has a 3:2 aspect ratio 13.5″ touch 2256 x 1504 display with Dolby Vision HDR support and dual Thunderbolt 4 ports as well as USB-C.
The firm also announced the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 9 with a 14″ 16:10 aspect display with ‘FullHD’ and ‘UltraHD’ displays (we assume these are 1920 x 1200 and 3840 x 2400). The FullHD touch version has 500 cd/m² of output with 100% of sRGB and DCI-P3 as well as meeting the VESA DisplayHDR 400
The Lenovo Legion 7 is a 16″ gaming notebook with a 2560 x 1600 16:10 DisplayHDR 400 with 500 cd/m². Refresh is 165Hz and the panel is IPS. It will ship in June at prices from $1699. The Legion 5 Pro has the same display.
What We Think
I have an X1 Carbon of a previous generation. When it works, it’s great, but I’m on, I think, my fifth or sixth motherboard! Damage might be understood if I was travelling very heavily, but, of course for the last 10 months it has been glued to my desk! (BR)
