Nikkei gave an award to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip for being recognised as one of 2020’s ‘Nikkei Superior Products and Services’. A total of 36 products were presented with Awards.
What We Think
The article also gives background to Samsung’s development in the smartphone market. However, I can’t help thinking that there were gritted teeth as the award was given to a Korean company. It’s a long time since I have been to the electronic stores in Akihabara, Japan. In past days, there was actually no presence of Samsung at all, which was bizarre when I was so used to seeing its products in most departments of electronics stores in other countries. (BR)
