The Elec in Korea, quoting Chinese sources, said that Visionox has started operations at its flexible OLED fab in Guangzhou. Visionox’s 6th-generation flexible OLED line, V3, at Hefei, Anhui Province began operations earlier this month and supports LTPS and on-cell touch. (Visionox lights up its upcoming 6-Gen flexible OLED production line in Hefei). It is Visionox’s second flexible OLED factory after V2, also a 6th-generation flexible OLED line, in Guan, Hebei Province. The combined capacity of V2 and V3 is 30,000 substrates per month.
The firm also has a 5.5-generation rigid OLED line, called V1, at Kunshan, Jiangsu Province. The line has a capacity of 15,000 substrates per month.
However, The Elec pointed out that the firm has ‘questionably profitability’.

The article highlights that there are now 20 production lines for OLEDs in China, yet Samsung remains completely dominant in market share. (BR)
