The Korea Herald reports that LG Innotek has developed a new “highly efficient” ferrite material that can be used in power supplies to improve efficiency and could also allow much smaller and thinner power supplies to be developed. There are applications in electric vehicles as well as displays.
What We Think
This development should help to significantly reduce the thickness of FPDs with integrated PSUs including TVs. (BR)
