In a recent ‘Avixa Power Hour’, Chris Riegel of Stratcache forecast that microLED will be very important in the future of digital signage in around three years. A key advantage will be that factories will be cheaper than LCD fabs, the report said.
What We Think
While fabs will be cheaper than LCD factories, there remain a lot of barriers still to be overcome in developing microLED, although there is a huge amount of activity.
