Brainport Eindhoven – Dutch educational company Prowise continues to make an impact across Europe. After Copenhagen and various tenders in Germany, education in Brussels is now also opting for the award-winning solutions. Delivery of the 1500 touchscreens (estimated turnover 5 million euros) in the Belgium capital will start this summer.
In total, Prowise and its partner Media Service België may install 1500 touchscreens in the Belgian capital for the next 3 years. The invitation to tender, issued by i-City, the technological partner of the City of Brussels, is seen as a prestigious project in the sector. Price, quality, included software, after-sales support, warranty conditions, training opportunities and CSR were decisive factors in the choice for the Prowise solution. In addition to the delivery of the hardware, Media Service België and Prowise will also provide various training sessions. On a technical and didactic level, the end users are guided to get the most out of the new digital learning opportunities. The hardware and software, for example, are extremely suitable to enable ‘distance learning’.
Market leader
The touchscreens of the Dutch market leader Prowise are used by almost a million teachers and students in 26 different countries worldwide. The touchscreens are being developed entirely in-house, allowing the screens to excel in pre-installed educational software, privacy and security and ease of use for both teacher and student. With the included software the class can start an interactive math race, create a digital mindmap, play an educational quiz, enjoy game based learning and ‘stream’ content from a device on the big screen for a joint discussion.
New standard
