Hot on the heels of Palm, another small device to supplement bigger smartphones has arrived, courtesy of mobile operator NTT Docomo.
Scheduled for release in Japan next month, the Card Keitai KY-01L is 5.3mm thick and weighs 47 grams. Produced by electronics manufacturer Kyocera, it features a 2.8″ monochrome e-paper display, LTE connectivity and a 380mAh battery. Unlike Palm, it won’t work with conventional apps, with functionality limited to calls, texting and web browsing.
