Optoma has updated its ZU650+ projector to the 6,500 lumen (6,000 Ansi) 1920 x 1200 ZU660e. The unit has seven lenses including a dome lens and a UST option. The DLP projector has a laser phosphor light source and is filter free – a combination that minimises maintenance and operating cost. It is certified to IP5X for resistance to dust. Ansi contrast is 250:1 and full on/off is 1,200 :1.
Inputs include HDMI, VGA, DVI-D and HDBaseT as well as 3D Sunc. It has a VGA/component output and has RS232 and USB and RJ45 for maintenance and control.
Noise level is 36dB and power consumption (max) is 650W. Dimensions are 484 x 509 x 181 mm and weight is 17kg.
