With 35 years’ experience leading the financial and investment services market, and a client base that has invested over £86 billion to date, Hargreaves Lansdown needed a cutting edge solution, developed in collaboration with Sony, for its new technology centre in Warsaw, Poland.
Hargreaves Lansdown established HL Tech in Warsaw to be a new technology centre providing secure IT solutions for financial operations. The company’s objective is to develop state-of-the-art secure technologies that will provide innovative solutions to customer demands. The offices at 1 European Square in Warsaw offer a unique environment in which its team of engineers are empowered to work creatively.
Looking to create the workspace of the future is no easy task, and HL Tech needed a technology solutions provider that could work with them to achieve this goal. As such, the team approached Sony to become the first company in Central and Eastern Europe to deploy TEOS Manage – a powerful software application that enables users to easily manage all connected devices, signage content and meeting rooms across multiple sites.
Blending Form & Function
The HL Tech office is unique in many respects – striking the balance between creating beautiful, open spaces while still retaining the functionality necessary for a place of work. It features 27 BRAVIA Professional Displays, a VPL-PHZ10 laser projector and 7 TEOS Book tablets. All of these devices, including digital signage and the conference room booking system are controlled centrally using TEOS Manage based on a local server. The AV team can now simply manage all devices, including turning them on and off, regulating volume or planning the broadcasting of content at defined times.

Guiding Visitors and Entertaining Staff
Sony’s Digital Signage system has been deployed in reception on two 49? screens, on twelve 55’’ Sony BRAVIA screens to provide guidance in corridors, as well as on two 49?, three 55? BRAVIA Professional Displays and a VPL-PHZ10 projector in the bar area for a more informal work space.
The conference room booking system is fully integrated with Microsoft Exchange for ease of use by staff-members.
